About Me;
Hi! I'm Meleah. I discovered Somatic healing after years of carrying trauma in my body—stemming from childhood abuse, religious control, and the pain of being silenced. For much of my life, I disconnected from my own needs to survive. When traditional paths, including various forms of body work and massage, failed me, I turned inward and began studying the nervous system, breath, and energy. Through this journey, I reclaimed my body, my voice, and my life.
As a Certified Reiki Master and Certified Spiritual Coach, I, Meleah Thompson, help others achieve the same transformation by reconnecting to the wisdom within and learning to feel safe in their own skin again through Nervous System Regulation and Somatic Healing.
What is Somatic Massage?
Nervous System Regulation
Somatic Massage works directly with the body's stress response, helping shift the nervous system out of fight- or-flight and into a state of rest and repair. By calming overactive patterns, it restores balance, lowers tension, and supports long-term resilience.
Release of Stored Stress and Emotion
The body often holds onto unresolved experiences in the form of tightness, pain, or fatigue. Somatic massage helps surface and release these patterns gently, creating space for both physical relaxation and emotional clarity.
Integration of Body and Mind
Somatic massage bridges physical touch with mindful awareness , recognizing that the body and mid are always inseperable. This integration allows clients to feel more grounded, connected, and present in their own body.
